I am a graduate student in the Hedrick Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Department of Biology) studying bird flight in the air-water interface with different levels of bird-water interactions. I am passionate about making science, especially biomechanics, accessible to everyone and opening inclusive spaces for learning. Read more about me

With each step in my career, my fondness for science increases. Following my doctoral graduation (anticipated in Spring 2025), I will continue my training seeking a post-doctoral research position. I am interested in investigating body structure-function relationships and locomotion in land vertebrates.
