ABOUT
After finishing my Ph.D. in the Hedrick Lab at UNC at Chapel Hill where I studied bird flight in the air-water interface, I started a research-teaching postdoctoral position in the Wright Lab at Kenyon College, where I am working on the effects of morphological sexual dimorphism on the flight performance of birds.
I am passionate about making science, especially biomechanics, accessible to everyone and opening inclusive spaces for learning. Read more about me
CV
With each step in my career, my fondness for science increases. In my current postdoctoral research-teaching position, I am continuing my training in bird flight biomechanics, and learning new morphological measuring techniques and evolutionary modeling.
I seek to continue my academic journey investigating body structure-function relationships and locomotion in land vertebrates.
